Girlie Weekend

Enjoyed a most amazing weekend with the girls in celebration for a very special girlfriend and her very special occasion.

An early start with a leisurely breakfast @ LaBodega at an early 10am *ok… so we were a little late…*

At noon, we rocked up to Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa. After checking in and our initial hiccup with the rooms allocated by the hotel (we were given rooms where the terrace faced the back of a restaurant where we could appreciate the buzz of the aircond vent / extractor fan), we enjoyed a couple of hours by the pool chilling and soaking up the glorious sunshine, drinking ice-cold beer and hanging out whilst waiting for our individual spa session appointments.

Spa @ Sembunyi – After a relaxing dip in the Jacuzzi bath I went for a ‘Rub-A-Dub-Dub’ body scrub. It started with a quick massage followed by a traditional lulur rub (lulur is a blend of rice powder, round tumeric, tamarind & jasmine) and another massage and finally a cold yoghurt rub. After the session, I felt relaxed and rejuvenated and my skin felt totally refreshed. Just heavenly!!

Dinner @ Bistro Cascata – At sunset, the girls glammed up for dinner at the hotel italian fusion restaurant and dessert at the poolside. As for the rest of the night, it was spent with sharing girly talks and enjoying our own company.

We met up at breakfast the next morning and after that it was another beautiful day at the pool before checking out and kissing goodbyes. A most perfect weekend. When can we do it again, girls??
