On Friendships

As i watched the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2006 at Souled Out waiting excitedly for the first World Cup 2006 match to begin (Germany v Costa Rica, the Germans won 4:2 *yay*), I received a phone call from PL. She says she just saw Roberto Baggio on TV. She wanted to tell me that reminded her of World Cup 1994 when i was so starstruck over Baggio i stuck a picture of Baggio on my pencil case. And now, many years later, after the pencil case and the picture of that great footballer has long ago disappeared, i am so glad that our friendship stays true till this day.

Here's to friendships of a lifetime

I am so lucky to have the great friends that i have. But sometimes i can't help but to wonder, which hurts more - the loss of a friendship, or the realisation that there never was a friendship?
