Moving Up Moving On

In the last year, I have had quite a few friends move up, move on or move away. Some moved back to their hometowns to be with their families, one got married and moved halfway round the world. A few saw their career taking off and taking them south to Sg or north to Bkk and and some even further to UK and US. Some moved on to a different career or life path altogether. All have gone in search for new life experiences and adventures.

I wonder what makes a person take that first step and make that leap to move on and move up. What does it take for a person to leave one's comfort zone and to seek the unventured? And i wonder how one tells it's time to move.

Luckily for me, some friends have moved on and moved up to KL and can hang out with me more often.
