Jubilee

I'm already missing my babies Hershey & Chino sooooo much!

Meet Jubilee. Like me, she's also quite new to Sydney. She's an adorable little 11 year-old silky terrier who's somewhat gender confused. She humps! She also knows a whole bag of tricks - sit, stay, handshakes, crawl, rollover ... alto she sometimes gets her left & right rollovers confused.
It was nice meeting up with Jubes. Hope to see you soon!

PL & Simon

PL and Simon finally took the plunge and tied the knot. I am really glad that i was around to be a part of the beautiful event. Although i was sad that it was the last time i would hang with my friends for awhile, my last night in KL was a most happy and memorable one. PL and Simon are just perfect for each other, and i know this is just a beginning of a forever happily ever after.
Man and his Entourage
The man and his posse arrived bright and early to pick up the bride. Flanked by a group of loyal and courageous friends, the man will never walk alone.

Meanwhile, the bride waits...

The Obstacle Course
Is it the man that wears the diapers pants? The entourage ducks around the Man while he ponders on his love poem.
Is it the man that brings home the cucumber bacon? The Man and his friends courageously and fearlessly overcomed all obstacles in the way. The Man has proven himself worthy and is allowed to pickup his bride. The bride and her bridesmaids

A New Year

Happy New Year 2007!

Despite all the happenings and festivities, i haven't been blogging much. There are things going on that i can't blog about. Suffice to say, goodbyes are hard and the next time i blog, it will be from a different place.

Heroes

Recently, i've been glued to the new tv series Heroes. It's a story about some everyday folks who realise that they have extraordinary abilities and that they are destined for greater things. So far, the series is exciting and suspense filled. And unlike the other sci-fi series i've been watching, Lost, it has not yet lost the plot or revealed gaping unanswered questions.
Incidentally, this series is written by Bryan Fuller who also produced Wonderfalls, one of my absolute favourite TV shows (which i guess no one else really liked as it got canned after its first season)
Anyway, i realise that i may not want to be a superhero, but i wouldn't mind having these supernatural abilities!
Telepathy - It would be pretty cool to be able to get in their heads and read minds. We could know in an instant what someone else is feeling and thinking.
Teleportation and time travel - It would be great to be anyplace else in a blink of an eye. Or to go back in time to relive happy times or to make right mistakes.
Anyhow, life has been just fine so far without superpowers or superheroes. So superpowers & superheroes, do we really need them?
